Rena's professional career began in the City of Edmonton where upon completing her Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Alberta. Rena continued her education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in the city of Toronto. Rena takes into consideration mental, emotional and physical components to help her in diagnosis and treatment.

Rena is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), and is licensed through the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy – Naturopathy in Ontario as well as the Alberta Association of Naturopathic Practitioners.
